Do not you feel completely rooted? Do you feel insecure, and sometimes you have little confidence in the existence? Are you often bereft of strength and tend to exhaustion? Do you have difficulty managing money? Often suffer from intestinal problems, constipation or diarrhea?
Have you ever thought that this may result from a disequilibrium of the Root Chakra?
Let’s see why.
The first Chakra, who is called Root Chakra, Muladhara in Sanskrit (which means support of the root) is the foundation of the energy system of the Chakras. Through the center of the base, the energy is collected from the ground and from the nature and later transformed.
It is located at the base of the spine, deep in the coccyx, at the center of the perineum, between the anus and the genitals, and is associated with the color red. It is connected to the earth element, and the planet Mercury. The related verb is “I have”.
The Root Chakra is associated with issues such as security, stability, the survival, rooting and the connection with the physical world and with “Mother Earth”.
Why is it important that they be balanced?
The energy of this chakra gives vitality, courage, confidence, willpower and desire to live and to embark on new adventures.
The material abundance, success in the workplace, a home fixed and stable family relationships and torque are the result of a root Chakra energy load.
When this chakra is open we feel safe and secure, we have full awareness of our body, we live fully in the present moment and plan our future with tenacity and mental clarity, rather than simply react impulsively to the circumstances, an attitude that negatively influence particular aspect of financial stability.
When it is in disequilibrium, thoughts and actions can be oriented to the obsessive satisfaction of material needs and personal safety. Greed, selfishness, lack of confidence in the vital forces ancestral aggressive imposition of interest and selfish goals are symptoms that reveal serious disturbance to the natural base.
Weakness and poor physical and emotional stamina stress insufficient functionality of the Muladhara. We lose the ability to manage money and economic problems become more frequent and insistent. We are living things and situations with excessive worry, even if they are trivial. We feel as if we had lost any foothold. Every fact or event becomes difficult to overcome, we dream so easy and pleasant conditions, generating mental escapes from contingent reality. If the higher Chakras are more developed than the lower, we will have the feeling of being out of the world, experiencing a sense of alienation and loneliness.
At the physical level, this Chakra provides the energy to the large intestine, bones, the legs, the feet and the adrenal glands. Physical disorders of this type may indicate a malfunction of it. Muladhara is manifested through a healthy strong bones and teeth, as well as the proper functioning of the large intestine and a regular excretion. Generally the quality of the blood and the sciatic nerve are affected. A conscious development of the base Chakra can prevent or alleviate pain kidney or bone diseases (such as osteoporosis).
“Is It possible to balance the Root Chakra?” you will ask me. Sure! I explain you as soon as how!
Try sport regularly, and make sure you move enough. Get out of the house, you’re outdoors, in nature, take the sun and breathe fresh air… well, finds the connection with Mother Earth ! Do outdoor activity is without a doubt the best way to make sure that the energy returns to flow freely through the first chakra. Here are some examples of activities you can do outdoors : dance, yoga, running, walking, gardening, rock climbing, hiking, outdoor team games such as football.
Wearing garments of red, or red fabrics used in your home.
Eat red food color, such as beets, sweet potatoes and other root vegetables; Spice it your food with spices such as cayenne pepper, paprika and chili.
Sit with your back straight, breathe in through your nose and make echo, exhaling, a “U”. Do this exercise for about 5 minutes. Give off the vowel “U” stimulates the first Chiakra.
You can also balance the Root Chakra using the stones. Choose intuitively one of the following stones: ruby, hematite, Sardinian, red coral, spinel, red jasper, garnet, cat’s eye (red tiger’s eye). Turns the stone between your hands to get a massage, letting flow the energy of the stone from the hands to the first chakra. Or just keep in contact with the skin, in the form of ring or necklace.
Repeat the following affirmations several times a day, especially before going to sleep. Whispers the affirmation slowly and relaxed voice for at least ten times:
“I listen with increasing attention to the needs of my body” “I feel my body in full awareness at all times” “I have faith in the power of nature and let me hold up from the earth”
Now.. Are you wondering how it will change your life when your Root Chakra regain its natural balance?
Well, I assure you that things will change… learn how to feel relaxed and at peace, you will develop a good relationship with your body, you will feel constantly safe.
You feel connected to the universe and perfectly integrated into the natural cycles of life.
Your relationship with money will become balanced, you will learn to manage your money and always have enough to meet your every need, with an eye to the future and one in the present.
You will live a life in the name of abundance and prosperity both material and spiritual.
Your relationships with others become healthy and balanced, and you will feel a deep connection with the earth and all living creatures.
Finally you will feel a strong inner urge to give your active contribution to protecting Mother Earth and take care of it.
I always say that knowledge and awareness are the first step to any change and improvement.. but one of the most important steps is the action!
Now you have all the information.. it’s up to you to put them into practice for your well-being!
